DD's birthday invitations
I stayed up late a few weeks ago to finish these so I could finally get them in the mail. I bought this embossing folder for my cuttlebug last year and have never used it. I knew exactly what I wanted to do with it when I bought it- I just never got around to using it! LOL! Don't tell my DH - he says I have enough stamp stuff that I never use and I don't want him to know he's right! I used the linen background stamp set from SU to stamp over the embossed image using real red ink. You can stamp over the image embossed side up or down to get a little different look - I like to stamp over it embossed side down. The card base is real red cs from SU to match the stamped image, and the ribbon is from Michaels. Of coarse I had the ribbon in my stash - I had two different color ribbons so I used them both.
Do you love them?
DD loved them and was very excited to pass them out at school-Now I will have to remember to take some asprin before the party with 20 something kiddos riding go-carts at the go cart track. It better not rain! LOL!!!
PS - blogging sisters. I am using this for my challenge #1 card. I have never used this embossing folder or the ribbon even though I bought them over a year ago with good intentions!! Always good intentions right!
