paper piecing

I found this cool craft at Michaels.com and had to try to convert it to a card - what a cute idea! Paper piecing at its best! I tried the gingerbread card, and the santa card. I used chalks for Santa's cheeks, and a white gel pen for the gingerbread man lines. If I had seen these ssoner I would have tried them for my christmas cards. These would also make great gift bags - I will save that idea for next christmas by doing the paper piecing on a plain white gift bag.
